Sherry Sonnenberg

Personal Trainer, Group Instructor, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Fitness 4 Ever Owner

With a Master Degree in Exercise Science Sherry continually strives to research the latest trends in the fitness industry. With the initial focus always on corrective exercise, she will work with you to safely reach your personal fitness goals. Whether it is an old sports injury or recent one her goal is to ensure you are able to work hard, live life to its fullest and be as pain free as possible.

In the past Sherry has worked with high school athletes and enjoys not only recovery from injury but pushing you to increase your speed, agility and quickness!

Kara Short

Personal Trainer, Group Instructor

Kara Short is a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM) and Certified Nutrition Coach. She opened her business, FIT, in 2012 and works with a variety of clients who are seeking to live healthier lives. Kara's main interests as a coach include strength training and behavior/habit change through exercise and nutrition to ensure long term success.

Emily Watkins

Personal Trainer, Group Instructor

Emily came to fitness later in life because of her love of dance. A ballet dancer in her youth, she found and fell in love with Zumba while trying to lose her pregnancy weight. When she realized how good it felt to exercise regularly, she started adding weight training. Seeing positive changes in her body composition along with feeling great, she wanted to help others achieve the same. She started Empowered Wellness   Fitness Studio in 2011 with a friend, offering group fitness classes. The business grew to include more types of classes and personal training, and in 2014 she got her personal training certification. Along with that certification, she has two certifications in barefoot training and is also a Precision Nutrition coach. She loves to help people find their own love for exercise.

In 2010 Zumba was Stephanie’s gateway drug into the world of fitness, then came running and now bodybuilding and personal training. With the heart of a teacher and lifetime love of music, Stephanie wants to share her passion for positive movement with you and help you reach your fitness goals.
